I noticed an advisory theme afoot in my recent RSS readings - a flurry of how-tos for bettering our communication skills. This is popular fodder for building legal sanity, as demonstrated here; here and here (among others). The roundup this time offers us practical pointers on optimizing public speaking gigs; road rules for kicking butt on conference panels (thanks to Matt Homann for the tip); and insights into making business meetings worthwhile. While we’re on the theme of themed commentary; I want to highlight two more related posts.
